Not every Dallas professional needs a private office on day one. Many need a reliable place for client weeks, travel days, or hybrid schedules—without signing a long lease. At Cue, that lighter end of the ladder lives at Arts District only.
Good to know: Cue North Dallas (NCX) does not sell day passes or flex desks. NCX is private offices (from $550/mo) with free parking. If you want a day pass or flex membership, you are shopping 750 N. St. Paul Street — Dallas Arts District.
Staffed hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm; weekends closed. Phone (214) 393-4833 · hello@thecue.work.

Day pass — $35 (Arts District)
Who it is for
- Consultants with one downtown client day a week.
- Remote employees whose company reimburses occasional office days.
- Visitors to Dallas who need Wi‑Fi, outlets, and a professional backdrop—not a hotel lobby.
- Founders testing Cue before committing to flex or an office.
What to expect
Full-day Arts District coworking access during staffed hours: shared seating, Wi‑Fi, and common amenities. Parking is not free; fees vary—budget like any downtown day.
When a day pass is enough
- You are on-site 5 or fewer days per month. Five passes come to $175, still just under flex at $185/mo.
- You do not need a reserved desk waiting every morning.
- Your sensitive calls can move to headphones + a quieter corner, or you book a room hour separately.
When it stops being enough
- You are buying 6 or more day passes a month. Six passes run $210, $25 more than flex at $185/mo, so flex pays for itself from about the sixth visit.
- You need consistent neighbors / mail / community rhythm.
- Client work requires a door more days than not → look at private office.
Flex coworking — $185/mo (Arts District)
Who it is for
- Hybrid employees with a recurring midweek office pattern.
- Freelancers who want a professional default without a suite.
- Small partnerships that share open seating more than they need two offices.
What “flex” means here
Flexible coworking membership at Arts District—shared / flexible seating rather than a lockable private office. Ask what the plan includes so it matches how you actually work (see the list below).
When flex is enough
- You show up six or more days a month (a bit more than once a week), but not five locked-office days.
- Open floor energy helps more than it hurts.
- You can schedule confidential work into room credits or off-site calls.
When to upgrade from flex
- Headphones are not enough; you need a door daily.
- Headcount grew past what shared seating comfortably supports.
- Free parking became the constraint → evaluate NCX private offices from $550/mo instead of forcing downtown every day.
Private office — when the light products are no longer enough
| Signal | Move to |
|---|---|
| Daily confidential calls | Private office (Arts from $650/mo or NCX from $550/mo) |
| Team of several people | Sized private office; tour both locations |
| Free parking required | Prefer NCX |
| Still need downtown optics some weeks | Keep Arts day passes alongside an NCX office |
North Dallas (NCX) offers private offices only—no day passes or flex desks.
Dallas-specific use cases
Client day downtown. Morning prep on a $35 day pass, lunch nearby, afternoon pitch; optional conference room from $35/hr for non-members (1-hour minimum), included for members, if the meeting is formal (/conference-room/).
Travel week. Fly in Sunday, three day passes Mon–Wed, skip the hotel “business center.”
Hybrid employer stipend. Flex at $185/mo is easier to expense as one membership than a scatter of day passes.
North Dallas home base, downtown burst. NCX office for the team; Arts day pass when the calendar goes civic / Arts District. Respect the product split: no NCX day pass exists.
Ask what’s included, and what isn’t
Before you buy a day pass or flex membership, ask what the price covers and what costs extra:
- Printing
- Conference room hours or credits
- Coffee
- Parking (paid at Arts District; fees vary)
- Guest policy
- 24/7 access (included with some memberships)
